Terms of Service

Last updated: November 4, 2026 (draft)

1. Who these terms are with

These terms cover your use of LaneOneHQ.com and the LaneOne office, Driver and Staff apps, provided by LaneOne HQ (“LaneOne”, “we”). If your company has a signed agreement with us, that agreement wins where the two differ.

2. Accounts

LaneOne does not offer public signup. We create each fleet’s company account. You are responsible for the people you give logins to, for keeping passwords private, and for what is done under your company’s logins.

3. Your data

Your company owns the data it puts into LaneOne: loads, customers, drivers, documents and payroll records. We use it only to run the service for you, as described in our privacy policy. Each carrier’s data is kept private to that carrier.

4. What LaneOne does and doesn’t do

LaneOne prepares drafts and estimates, such as loads read from a rate con, invoices, pay runs and tax worksheets, for your staff to check. LaneOne is not an ELD and doesn’t record hours of service. It doesn’t file IFTA or remit payroll. You remain responsible for checking drafts and for your filings, remittances and compliance.

5. Acceptable use

Don’t use LaneOne to break the law, to access another company’s data, to probe or overload the service, or to resell it without our written permission.

6. Plans, fees and cancelling

Fees are a flat monthly price per plan in Canadian dollars, plus HST, as shown in our plans section or in your quote. Each plan has a truck limit. A free trial lasts 7 days and needs no card. There is no long-term contract. You can cancel with 30 days’ notice. A zip of your export tables stays available for 30 days after the contract ends.

7. Third-party services

Some features connect to services you choose, such as accounting or telematics providers. Your use of those services is under their own terms.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep LaneOne available and backed up, but the service is provided as is, without guarantees beyond those in your agreement. We may update these terms and will post the new date on this page.

9. Limits of liability

To the extent the law allows, LaneOne is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited as set out in your agreement.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
